Lynne Clark is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and she worked as a freelance violinist and instrumental teacher before becoming a full time teacher. In 1997 she gained her Master of Education degree through Nottingham University and she was also awarded the Certificate of Kodály Music Education with distinction.

Lynne lectures for the British Kodály Acadamy, tutoring on the Academy’s annual summer school. She has worked extensively in primary, secondary and instrumental education and for some years was Director of Music at Lady Manners School, Bakewell. She now works for Derbyshire’s Advisory and Inspection Service as Leader of Instrumental Development for North East Derbyshire.

After graduating from The Royal Manchester College of Music Joe gained a post graduate degree from Trent Park College. He has been head of music at both Robert Sutton Technical School in Burton on Trent and Highfields School, Matlock. He was Musical Director of Chesterfield Philharmonic from 1970 tp 1995 and The Derbyshire Singers from its re-formation in 1973 until handing over the baton to his wife Lynne in the 1990's.

Joe is a member of The Association of British Choral Directors and The British Kodály Academy from which he gained The Advanced Diploma in Musicianship.
