The choir has given frequent performances with professional orchestral musicians and soloists in Derby Cathedral and in the other towns and villages of the county. The programme has included both well known and newly published music

Guest conductors have included Brian Kay and Sir David Willcocks.
The choir has sponsored performances in Matlock by renowned international choirs and artists.
The choir has organised choral weekends annually with conductors Brian Kay, Michael Brewer, Laszlo Heltay and Nigel Perrin. Since 1998 the principal venue has been The Cavendish Hall, Chatsworth. These are open to all.
